Shimano XTR M965 groupset - £plenty
groupset ie a set of components needed to make a bicycle function with all intended options
Comments - Justr rode the Cape-Epic with this groupset, over 2 yrs old and the stuff just keeps on going and going and going. Been replacing the chain at 0.75% wear and the cassette i has only just died. Still original bearings everywhere although the shifter were warrantied just before the race due to pivots that became sloppy. yep they warrantied them. Overall, 900km plus about 4000km of training rides plus everything I did in North wales soIreckon close to 8000km on the stuff is pretty good going for the chainrings, cassette, rear mech, disc rotors and cranks.
Pros - Light weight longevity
Cons - er well none, can;t say price cos there is cheaper if I so chooose
