Gore Bikewear Phantom N2S Jersey - £85
Long sleeve all season jersey with zip off arms made from Gore next to skin windstopper fabric.
Comments - Pretty much one top does it all - even in the depths of winter it's warm enough being completely windproof - although I sometimes wear a thin baselayer underneath if it's a bit extreme. Zip the arms off and its a short sleeve jersey for summer with a windproof body section - the short arms are made from a wicking, baselayer type fabric.
Pros - Completely windproof and highly breathable. Full length front zip with flap behind to exclude draughts Snug high collar. Can partially unzip arms to provide venting points.
Cons - Can be slightly too warm for the hottest of days depending how you cope with heat/cold. Full length zip allow full ventilation though. Only one rear zipped pocket - although it's water resistant. Need to be flexible in order to remove arms whilst wearing the jersey unless assisted by a mate!
