Gore Windstopper cap designed to fit under a helmet.
Comments - I bought mine in France in January and wore it every ride (on & off road) through to spring. I like the ear flaps in the real cold weather - problem on road being reduced hearing capabilities! Cost 12 Euros from "Aux Vieux Campeur". Not easily available in the UK, so get one if you're in Europe.
Pros - Thin, wind resistant, fits nicely under your cycle helmet.
Cons - Designed for winter sports like snowboarding, so has ear flaps.
