Stans noTubes ZTR olympic rims built onto Shimano M965 XTR rear hub and Cannondale SI Lefty front hub
Comments - I raced these rims at the 2005 Cape Epic. Thats 900km from knysna to Cape Town over some knarly terrain. These wheels are lighter than Mavic CrossMAx and appear to be stronger due to their good build. Make sure that you get a good wheelsmith to assemble them as I 've seen not too badly built wheels fold in the same race. I've now done more than 3500km on them and they are still round and true Highly recommended. Probably not for the heavier rider
Pros - 347gr per rim can inflate a tubeless tyre with a hand pump easier to fit tyres too than mavic x819
Cons - needs to built well and with strong spokes ie Sapim CX-Ray or DT SUperCOmp
