Trek 8900 - 2006 - £2000
Trek 8900, Lightweight XC hardtail, 80mm clever Fox Forx, Tubless compatable, Full XTR with bonty Carbon finishing kit with bits of titanium thrown in for good measure!
Comments - With not owning a hardtail til now i was a bit dubious of buying one, but well impressed! Can't get over the forks! I would deff reccomend one!
Pros - Considering its pretty high spec the price isn't too bad Very light and responsive. XTR Brakes and Lever Combo work really, really well. Awsome Forks! (Well impressed with these things!) Carbon bars take all the sting out the trails. It HASN'T got Hayes Brakes!! (never again!) and it looks cool!
Cons - I need to get fitter!
